"I want to recomend the game of UNITY to all gamers who like strategy card games. UNITY is Biblically based and invites the players to think seriously about the battle between the forces of evil and the forces of God. The game reflects how our actions and decisions can have longlasting effects and may lead us into trouble. My favorite part of the game is that you can actually do yourself a favor by inviting others to enter into righteousness. The game can also open up avenues for discussion and ministry with youth and young adults who are seeking the good news or are even unchurched. "I wanted to write to in order to let you know how successful your game Unity has been in our youth group. I received the game on Wednesday and  they have been playing it all week long at our county fair church booth.  We have had a music and puppet ministry going all week and during the down times the kids have been playing Unity. As a pastor it is refreshing to see the kids take to something that actually has a spiritual basis. One of our teens launched a 90 some point attack which was defeated by ONE trinity card - this led to a discussion on Evil's "so-called" power and how God can defeat even the greatest evil with one stroke. Also, they love using the Judgment of God card to reverse evil attacks which led to a discussion on how we reap what we sow. So, thanks for a great game and I hope it catches on elsewhere. I know that I'll do my part as a youth pastor to promote it when and where I can."

The first few games were to learn the rules; once we got those down, it was time to really start figuring out how best to use the cards to surprise your opponent and win the game. "As Jr. Highschool youth leaders we figured The Unity Card game would be an exciting and competitive way for youth to interact during game time on youth night. We found the game to be challenging at the same time allowing us to learn verses about good and evil. The card graphics are well done and each card has a scriptural verse accompanying it. We found as we played the game that defeating evil with evil has a penalty just like in our daily lives. We noticed that certain Righteous cards such as the Trinity cards have great power against even the most powerful Evil card. We know this to be true in spiritual warfare as well. This is a strategy card game that calls for planning ahead.  One of the things we do as a family is to let the little ones play as teams with the adults.  This lets them feel like they are part of the game and you will be surprised at how much fun they have and how much they learn.  This would apply this game because of the strategy involved.  The reason why I say this is because there is so much more to this game than just playing the cards.  It teaches so much about the people of the bible.  Each card depicts characters both in the physical world and in the spiritual world with bible verses relating to those characters.  There are also cards depicting the festivals of God. This brings life to the game and teaches biblical truths.  The cards are well designed and the categories are easily distinguishable by their symbols.   The game plays well.  Much of the play is in response to what was played ahead of you.  Free turns is where the strategy of the game comes into play.  Deciding what to play comes with experience so the more the game is played, the easier it is to develop a game strategy.  The level of this strategy will also grow the more the game is played.  This is what makes the game fun and challenging and it is what will keep you coming back for more.  The play changes quickly.  A player with few cards has few choices to make while a player who has a lot of cards can find himself controlling the course of the game.  This makes the game different not only from game to game, but also within each game.  This creates a lot of interaction between the players.  The more you play, the more you will want to play.  Because the games are short, the interest level stays high and your thirst for more grows, and you will find your self always wanting more. -Marvin Hanneman of HIS FAMILY BOARDGAMES
