Where Ancient Prayer Meets Messianic Faith

The Jewish people have prayed for thousands of years using liturgical prayers that echo the Psalms and the heart of Scripture. The Tefilah Project takes these ancient prayers and sets them to original music — weaving together the Hebrew roots of worship with the good news of Yeshua (Jesus) as the promised Messiah.

Written by Dan Olds of Yeshuateinu Messianic Ministries, these songs are an invitation for both Jewish and Gentile believers to pray and worship through the lens of Israel's sacred tradition — and to discover how deeply the prayers of the Jewish people point toward their Messiah.

"Pray without ceasing."

— 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Demo Recordings

🎵

The three songs below are demo recordings — a preview of what is to come. It is our hope that the full Tefilah Project will be professionally recorded in the future. We invite you to listen and pray along.

Song 1

Kaddish

Based on the ancient Aramaic doxology of praise

The Kaddish is one of the most sacred prayers in Jewish liturgy — a declaration of God's greatness and holiness, traditionally recited in times of both mourning and celebration. This Messianic setting lifts that ancient praise toward Yeshua, the one in whom all God's promises find their "Yes."

Song 2

Holy

Inspired by the Kedushah — the prayer of holiness

The Kedushah — "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts" — is sung in Jewish synagogues during the Amidah prayer, echoing the cry of the angels in Isaiah 6. This song draws from that ancient declaration of God's holiness, pointing to the one who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Song 3

Thanksgiving

Inspired by the Modeh Ani — the prayer of gratitude

The Jewish tradition of giving thanks to God runs through every layer of daily prayer — from the Modeh Ani upon waking to the blessings over food and the Psalms of praise. This song of thanksgiving celebrates God's faithfulness and the gift of new life found in Yeshua the Messiah.

A Project in Progress

These demo recordings are just the beginning. It is our prayer that the full Tefilah Project — a complete collection of Messianic songs rooted in the ancient prayers of Israel — will be professionally recorded and released in the future. We are grateful for your interest and your prayers for this ministry.
